the product is useless and clearly isnt griping properly - ie you can see in its use that its sticking. how can you produce smooth focusing with a piece of equipement your literally fighting against?

That look's like a great idea, Instead of grasping the focal ring on the camera lens you just use the leaver, damn great idea, But just one thing, Those adjustment screw's on the gear ring, do they squash the focus ring on the lens itself to the point where it becomes more resistive to turning smoothly ?, Cos i did notice that there's a little jerkyness when starting and stopping the adjustment ?, So glad the Subsciptions are showing up again today :) Top Review Dave :)

necessary to have a follow focus gear for your still lenses but the screws mounting to the lens is not right.  I would not subject my lenses to any scratching, burring or depression marks created by the crew adjustors.  I think better would be an elastic type of follow focus gear that firmly stretches around the lens to a snug fit.

Why not just switch to manual focus? I used to have to do that for years before auto focus was invented! My results would be every bit as smooth.
