I. Using Prep to Make Data Deidentification a Breeze

Many times in my career, I wondered about simpler methods to make mock data for potential client demos and marketing strategies. For this reason, I dabbled in Tableau Prep and an online tool called Mockaroo to create realistic replacements for PII/PHI data columns. In this talk, I will walk you through step-by-step how to make this process easy to achieve with existing Tableau Prep steps and no coding.
II. NHL API Data with Prep

The NHL has a publicly available api that can be accessed via python. Combine that with Tableau Prep and you have amazing insights into play-by-play events. Jared will showcase how he cleaned up the api data with Prep and created a dashboard that has every play for every player in the current NHL season.
