We finally retired our iPad 3 this week. I originally bought it for myself, gave it to my wife afterward, and then my son used it. Now the YouTube app apparently no longer runs and the app cannot be updated anymore. BTW thank you Marques for all your reviews over the years. Have been following you on YouTube and Twitter since almost the beginning, happy to see you go so far!

All right, I got the new iPad, and to be honest I wasn't blown away by the display. It looked crisp and that's about it, I even compared it to my old iPad 2 and I can't even see the difference while holding each side by side. I'm not disappointed. Believe me I think the new iPad is a massive spec bump from the old iPad 2 but what baffles me is everyone raving about this display. Pfttt...It's nice...but nothing mind blowing....

@slowersea The iPad was developed before the iPod Touch or iPhone. The iPod touch was released first after the release of the iPhone 1G. Technically all you should see is a small iPad.

@gekkosaurus, the iPad 2 only says "iPad" on the back, plus you can tell from the weight, probably not thickness, but the size of the lens and the different taper on the back

At first when I subscribed to you, I thought you were going to be a normal YouTube tech reviewer but, I was definitely wrong, you are amazing, really. :D

@Neoand12 It really depends on what you want to do with it. If you'd use your laptop for a lot of word processing or maybe designing websites or stuff like that, I'd really, really recommend a laptop. However, if you sometimes type some documents and just mainly use computers to read email and browse the internet, I'd recommend trying an iPad. It's easy to keep synced up with your 4S and looking at the videos you make, iMovie would work out great for editing on iPad. Just my opinion, good luck!
