I mean, sure, but 49ers really needed a qb at that time. They already have a solid offence and defense, so why would they pick the players that were picked after him? I feel like it would be a more fair of a comparison to compare Trey to QBs that were picked after him. It would be more similar to when they picked Alex Smith over Aaron Rodgers.
