A beautiful song by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg in 1875, and performed by the amazing Sissel. When I listed to Grieg I see fjords and mountains, beautiful streams and fields of flowers. I was born in Norway, not far from Grieg's home. I've been to his home where he wrote much of his music, and all of those things are there when you look out the windows of his studio.

You're thinking this is not a bad Solveig, then you realize it's a live performance. However I think her earlier Solveig done in national dress with the bad sound (on YouTube) she never surpassed. It is quintessentially the best Solveig I've ever heard.
