Politicians (mostly elderly) sitting way too close together amid a pandemic outbreak, not seems to be a great idea.

9:41 ".. the big question is how much of an impact the coronavirus is going to have on the economy and public finances... "
Maybe for you it is. We're thinking of our families.

The 10 to 15% saving on pensions will cover some of the budget costs!

Germany has 4 times more hospital beds than UK, so is far better prepared. 20 other EU nations have more hospital beds than the UK. But the alt right will find a way of blaming the EU.

Health minister (who works in Westminster) get the virus, parliament continues business as usual.
Here, when a company employee was tested positive the whole company, all offices, closed down for 2 week. No more infections.
When is the UK government going to realise the seriousness of the situation?

Focus on protecting yourself wherever possible, good hand hygiene, social distancing where you can, being aware of touching surfaces, wear disposable gloves on public transport and dispose after every journey. Whilst there is much we are not in control of there are some measures we can take to protect ourselves. Stay safe :)

I've been saying austerity is a bad idea for the past 10 years, and finally the government agrees with me. When you cut government spending when interest rates are low, you are essentially telling the market that you want the economy to run slow and under capacity. Infrastructure projects that need doing don't get done. So productivity has stagnated (especially outside London), because we don't have the infrastructure behind us. Borrowing when you're a government that controls your own currency (unlike for Greece, Spain, etc) at low rates is a no brainer, and we're finally going to do it. Thank you Boris, and thank you Jeremy Corbyn for pushing the Tories in this direction.

Why can't C4 get economically competent people to do the interviews. They let the Tories get away with childish maths.
