Change the mode on the Pixel to Vivid and will far out perform the Iphone. The iPhone is slightly more saturated

I can't tell enough of a difference to justify a 500 dollar difference in price. I would have to see a bunch of other features to justify that difference.

MKBHD had multiple phones photoes and had the community blindly vote on the photos. Pixel was the leader with iPhone and Samsung following but iPhone video still leads the pact.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max looks better than even the Pixel 8 Pro. In my opinion, iPhones are better than Androids, but PCs are better than Macs.

The iPhone is better, but only to a trained eye. The iPhone is dodging and burning the image. Google can't do that.

That being said, Google has more acurate color hues even if Apple has more accurate color luminoscities. And the Pixel 8a is $500. The iPhone is $1, 000.

So... depends on if you have an extra $500 or not. But the amazing thing is you can buy a Pixel 8a and be just fine.
