Hey everyone! In this tutorial we'll be looking at a few settings we can use in the Sky Atmosphere to totally change the look of a scene. We then take a look at how to correctly use the Exponential Heightfog in conjunction with the Sky Atmosphere.
This Applies to both UE4 and UE5.

1:30 - 1:57 wow, unbelievable how much unreal engine improved over the years. i remember back in school in 2005 we used to joke that future games would look like cinematics, now we have games looking like movies. just with the sun light this flat empty desert scene turns to reality.

I will remember to come back to this and press that super thank you button (Not sure what it is in English but it's the one that pays money), super helpful and concise, one of the best sky tut I've ever seen. Thank you so much

It was really that simple, all I needed to hear was that it's an additive process. That makes so much more sense as to why I couldn't get fog working right! Thank you

Love your videos as always, William. I really enjoy playing with the SkyAtmosphere because its effects really affect the mood of the environment as you showed.

One very important thing that everyone should note is when using exponential height fog, make sure it sits on the landscape or mesh that is acting as the ground for your scene. The height settings will not work properly if you place the actor too high (very foggy) or too low (too little fog). Its good to keep this in mind when adjusting terrain location or you'll wonder why its too foggy or not working.

Keep up the great work William.
