A superband made of some of the most respected and experienced musicians in the hard rock universe. Two Deep Purple members:

STEVE MORSE (considered one of the most talented guitar players in the world) and

DON AIREY (who also played with RAINBOW, COLOSSEUM, GARY MOORE and many other top names).

LEE KEERSLAKE (Uriah Heep drummer but also player and composer on the first 2 Ozzy Osbourne albums).

BOB DAISLEY (who recently played with Jon Lord on the HOOCHIE COOCHIE MEN project, ex RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH, URIAH HEEP and with Keerslake musician and composer on the first 2 Ozzy Osbourne albums).

JIMMY BARNES is the most important rock singer in Australia (besides his work with giants of pop rock like INXS, Tina Turner and many others).

CD: The studio album is an explosive collection of hard rock at its best. Half the material is from Daisley and Keerslake Ozzy Osbourne years. What an experience for hard rock fans to hear 2 Deep Purple members joining forces with Daisley, Barnes and Keerslake for great new versions of "Mr. Crowley", "I Don't Know" or "Crazy Train". On top of this the band wrote and recorded 5 original songs, new hard rock classics.

DVD: The first concert the band played together, mainly based on Ozzy Osbourne material, the concert shows the great chemistry between the musicians.

Why have I never really appreciated what Mr. Kerslake did as a drummer until after his passing?

I see comments knocking Steve Morse not playing close to the original, I come to see it played in the style of Morse, and I'm not disappointed I've never seen him be anything else, even in deep purple

very cool to see the Original 2 out of 3 musicians do this. They are as much to thank for the creation of the songs as Randy. Bob is a killer writer . Lee is to be respected too. Its a team effort. Sharon disrespected them shamelessly. I applaud them.

Great version of a great song! No one is able to copy Rhoads, not even Morse, but this is one of the best, if not the best, version I've seen without Rhoads handling the guitar:-)

Dear Friend, the text has been corrected. Your observation is right, but - sadly - we didn't have to notice Jon's passing away. We were lucky to be working with him and being his label, in fact we will release his last album in a few weeks, which he has completed and worked on with us until a few days before his sad passing away.

Not claiming that this carries any particular weight... but here is a quote from the Wikipedia entry for Steve Morse:

*Morse is considered one of the hardest working guitarists in the world.*

*He is widely known for his stylistically diverse compositional skills and was voted "Best Overall Guitarist" by Guitar Player magazine for five years in a row, qualifying him for its "Guitar Player Hall of Fame", the only other members being Steve Howe of Yes and Eric Johnson.*

*He is regularly cited by John Petrucci as a major influence. Guitarist Shawn Lane regarded Steve Morse as one of the most talented guitarists of his time.*

*Ritchie Blackmore, who preceded Morse in Deep Purple, has stated, "Steve Morse is an incredible player. A lot of people try to get some wisecrack out of me, but when you're talking about guitar players along Morse's caliber, they're brilliant."*

*Morse has proven himself throughout his career as capable of playing highly complex chord structures in classical sequences, as well as being able to play fast, alternate picked arpeggios.*

*He is well known for using harmonics and improvising them in songs during live performances, such as in Deep Purple's "Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming".*

I love them all. Jimmy Barnes also sang in Jon Lord's live band Hoochie Choochie Men (also with Bob Daisley) and perfectly performed in a Purple's cover "When A Blind Man Cries"

All the knockers ....you have no I mean the brief reality of this little bit of hard rock fun ...!! This concept band enjoyed and helped recreating Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake's version and input to these "Ozzy songs" music that Ozzy decided to not give them credit for, on sales and subsequent records. Now the recordings released as albums were done in just a 2 week period, these "live " shows were ad/hoc , whacked together, years later 2 ever gigs performed mind you !!! Steve and Don had only come come off stage an hour earlier, from live Deep Purple shows in melbourne, and Blessed the fans there and in the only time they ever played Sorry if it wasnt first class, you fools and heroes. These musicians are a credit to their craft ....
