Former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jordan Montgomery talked with reporters after the team's 3-0 win against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday afternoon at Busch Stadium. Montgomery and pitcher Chris Stratton were traded to the Texas Rangers for infielder Thomas Saggase, minor league right-handed pitcher Tekoah Roby, left-handed pitcher John King and an international signing bonus pool space.

Audio not very good, but good hearing from Monty following the trade. He's a little disappointed, but he's going to a team that IS contending (Texas Rangers) and since I live in San Antonio, I can always take the 5-hour drive up to Arlington to see him pitch if I want. Sorry he won't be with the Birds, though. Starting to grow on me.
