👶🧐 This surrogate gave birth to her own child while already pregnant

After giving birth to twins, this surrogate mother was shocked to discover one of them was her biological baby.

Jessica Allen, a California resident, agreed to be a surrogate for a Chinese couple through a surrogacy agency. She underwent an In Vitro Fertilization procedure and became pregnant, initially believed to be with twins. However, after giving birth, they realized one of the babies resembled her husband. So they conduct a DNA test, and to everyones surprise, the baby boy was indeed their own child.

This rare event occurred because Jessica became pregnant by her husband while already pregnant for her clients. The discovery triggered an emotional and legal battle for the couple, as the surrogacy agency and the intended parents initially demanded repayment of $22,000 and the option for the baby's adoption.

Despite facing legal and financial pressures, Jessica and her husband fought to regain custody of their son, and after a long process, baby Malachi was reunited with his biological parents.

Immediately the child should have been returned. There should have been no litigation as in the United States it’s illegal to purchase children. Being a surrogate for someone else’s child is one thing, but saying you own a child that is not rightfully yours is illegal.

The fact the Chinese parents responded like that, demanding money from her rather than being grateful they have a child due to her selfless act, shows they probably never should have been parents in the first place.

How greedy! So you can't produce your own without using someone else's womb and wanted to keep a baby that was not yours. Despicable! They got what they wanted. What was the point of holding on to the baby that was not theirs?

Why would you want someone else's child? I can see the surrogate paying back some of the pregnancy costs but you can't have my child.

People forget that twins LITERALLY cost more than a single baby. A lot of twins are premature and needed to be in the NICU, and is at higher risk of health condition (some even life long problems).

Surrogacy contracts have specific rules about not having intercourse for a certain amount of time to prevent this very thing from happening.

So not only did she broke the contract, but also put the couples actual baby in danger.

If you are desperate for a child and you find someone is willing to be a surrogate. When a situation like this happens and you have the baby you wanted, how can you be so hateful toward the person who payment or not is putting their life on the line to help you have a child. Because not every healthy woman survives pregnancy. This is mind-blowing.
