icons are not visible only Names are visible

****** HOW TO FIX FOLDER/SOFTWARE/SHORTCUT ICONS ARE NOT SHOWING JUST ICONS NAME ARE SHOWING***********

JUST FOLLOW THIS STEPS

1.HOLD WINDOW KEY + R

2.TYPE regedit and Press Enter

3.NOW OPEN REGISTRIES FOLDER FILES AS IT SHOWING

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ explorer \ Shell Icons

4.DOUBLE CLICK ON 29 or 9 REG_SZ
(NOTE -In my case, the name of the string was '29' not '9')

AND COPY AND PASTE THIS CODE IN VALUE DATA BOX -

AND PRESS OK,NOW YOU CAN SEE YOUR 90% PROBLEM SOLVED BUT AFTER RESTART YOUR 100% PROBLEM SLOVED

Ok, let help you guys, since this is a very easy, if you don't have the shell icons folder.

1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
2. type "sfc /scannow" and press enter.
3. Then wait until the scanning is done.
4. After the scanning is done, go ahead and Restart your Computer.
5. And then it your Computer should work as intended without any problems!

For Win11 you need to use %windir%\System32\shell32.dll, -50 otherwise you get a ugly document overlay over your desktop icons.
