I find it strange that they came to Polk county which compared to the counties above had the smallest amount of damage. After covid it is hard to believe any of the reps for the state.

How many illegal immigrants were in that county?? How many homeless people?? Official records will not list these people, but their remains could still be entangled in a woodpile on someone's property. But politicians rarely care about them, anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter to them.

Interesting houses, cars, etc. were swept downstream the remains may not be from that county or even that state. Just another example of the government (whether state or federal) failure.... M

I have a friend that has been there and said there are multiple refrigerator semis loaded with bodies. As someone else stated, who might be left to report if whole areas were wiped out.
