I've ridden both and I wouldn't call a Victory a "hoopty", unless it was one of the real early models with the small tires and cinder block jugs.

Ya we were poor. Got basket case. 1950 45 trike . $250 1974. . Cut off rear. Made stretched 10" hardtail. . Everyone built their own bikes. . Fun . Only a 45 but torqued right up the hill loaded . . Then outlaw clubs of oregon . All harley. No harley no member. Those were the days . We knew how to work on our bike. Pay no one..

Victory Motorcycles actually are better quality than Harleys. Victory Motorcycles don’t have nearly as many mechanical issues as Harleys, but Harleys have a huge following because they were the first.

I had a Victory High Ball and it was a far better bike than my Harley. It felt better, it ran better, it was faster (similar engine size) My bros that rode the high ball also agreed that It was an amazing machine and just felt right. I'm now on a 2014 Dyna Fat Bob as its the closest in spec to the HighBall and it still doesn't come close in my opinion.

There's a lot of people that try to compare or compete for what bike is best, I don't want a Harley. I don't want to poke fun at what bike a person rides. I love my Victory and what time, money, and energy I have put into it. When I get ready to own another bike, it's going to be an Indian. I won't swing to Harley.

Also polaris decided to focus on Indian more than Victory and dropped the Victory line all together to focus on the amazing new indian motorcycles. Ill choose a indian over a harley any day. Simplicity of maintenence on indians is amazing lol.

In no way will a Harley ever be a Benz. Good analogy but not accurate enough. Matter of fact, Indian has been turning out better bikes in all aspects. Ive also never seen a Victory “mark its territory” unless it has a broken ratchet shifter. 40 seals or 6?

Bro I love your content and your channel. But I have had a Victory Cross Country and would have still had it if Polaris hadn't shelved it. I ride a Indian chieftain limited now and love it as much as the Victory. But Harley Davidson has never attracted me in any way shape or form. And I got and have always had a good credit line. I don't think I will ever own a Harley and I'm 55.

I own Harleys, but I did ride a Victory from Massachusetts to Florida for a chickie that moved south. I'll have to admit, I was impressed
