In today's short video I will tell you about Project Manager's salary and way of getting there. I will tell you why I think the best way to management is through site engineering although it's definitely not the only one :) Please leave thumbs up if you liked it and let me know in the comments if you want more about this topic.

Hi Greg. As somebody who is currently working as a plumber but want to better myself more > gain construction management hnd etc > and specifically work on large/new build building sites do you envisage a criminal record would realistically create any problems? As in are records/dbs checks even asked about for construction manager jobs? - before anyone shoots me down < I made the mistake and now I want to better myself...

Hi Greg I’ve followed you since I started engineering for my family business and you have been more than helpful. Usually I have a senior engineer to set up the sites from original control points he sets me retros. He has explained this process but now I have to create retros myself from control points and wondered if you could message me back the correct process so as I don’t get it wrong. I’ll buy the coffees mate lol keep doing what you do 👍🏻

Hi Greg,
As somebody who has no experience in construction but is willing to get into construction (I currently hold a business and management degree which I know is completely different to construction). As in the last couple of months I have grown an interest in construction but was always unsure which route to take. What would you suggest I should do in regards to getting into construction especially project management. Thank you in advance.

Hi Greg, thank you for this video, I have a question, I am actually working as a Setting Out Engineer on a small company, I also do the ITPs as well as labour returns and some other health and safety stuff, I want to step up to the project management, I already have SMSTS and MSc on Civil Engineering in UK but I thought another MSc on Construction Project Management would make this step up easier for me, the other thought that I had is if I ask my employer to become an assistant pm and get the NVQ Level 6 from that, any suggestions for this?

Hi, Greg, your videos are very informative & motivating, keep it up. Now, I would like to know from you is that I have 10 years of experience in construction project management profile in India. planning for a full-time funded salary-based Ph.D. in Europe (they consider an employee in the doctoral project & collaboration with companies). after Ph.D. (if I consider will be selected) I would like to stay with the industry, not the academic life. with some exposure to the European environment during these 3/4 years (not a conventional full-time job), what could be the prospect for me in the UK construction industry ( I will have CEng, PMP, IPMA C certifications at the time of application for sure) to get a job as a project manager or any middle-level position?? please reply. thanks.
