宇多田ヒカル自身初の全米ビルボードのHOT100にランクインした『Face My Fears (English Version) / Hikaru Utada & Skrillex　“KINGDOM HEARTS III” Opening Theme Song』を、同じくアルバムに収録されている「One Last Kiss」「君に夢中」を共同プロデュースしたA. G. CookによりREMIXされたもの。

本ビデオは同日発売となったNintendo Switchクラウドバージョンの「キングダム ハーツ」シリーズのリリースを記念し、公開されたもの。制作は REAL ROCK DESIGNの映像チームが担当し、「キングダム ハーツ」シリーズの名シーンをあらためて編集、曲にあわせて再構築しました。

The original “Face My Fears (English Version) / Hikaru Utada & Skrillex　“KINGDOM HEARTS III” Opening Theme Song” charted in the US Billboard Hot 100, and the new version was remixed by A. G. Cook, who co-produced “One Last Kiss” and “Kimini Muchuu,” also on the album BAD MODE, turning out the brand-new banger.

The music video was released celebrating the launch of cloud versions of the KINGDOM HEARTS series on Nintendo Switch. Created by the video production team from REAL ROCK DESIGN, it features famous scenes from the series edited anew to sync with the music.

I'm sure Utada won't ever see this but, Kingdom Hearts has been one of the great things of my childhood and adult life. And as much as obviously we have Nomura to thank for that, I truly believe Utada deserves equally as much thanks. Simple and Clean (Hikari), Sanctuary (Passion), Face My Fears and Don't Think Twice (Oath) are some of the great songs of our time, and made a great game series even greater.
