Unbelieveably easy! You just saved me an agonizing (I'm in a lot of physical pain) trip to the vendors office. I cancelled my appt with them after figuring this out with this video. I don't know why they weren't more helpful over the phone.

Thanks very much. Just got this today and I was ready to dropkick this thing out the window thinking it didn't have this feature. I was very used to the Philips which had Auto start and auto stop on by default.

Wow! Thanks so much. It is really weird though. I have the Airsense 11 and my wife just started also with the Airsense 11. When you touch options on her screen and scroll down, the smart start and smart stop can be seen on the bottom. On mine, they do not appear and I have to use your double touch method (which worked). Strange that we have the same machine but they act differently. Anyway, thanks for saving me the phone call. Would still like to know why they are different, but at least it works. Added: I just read some of the comments down below and how people found it annoying that the SmartStart and Stop were "hidden" under the clinician's menu. Maybe all these comments helped and that is why my wife's new machine came with those features on the main menu.

I just started using my Air Sense 11 Bi Pap three days ago. Smart start and stop is turned on. So far, the smart start works as expected. However, the smart stop has only stopped once when removing my mask and the other two times, air was still flowing after my mask was removed. Any ideas why?

This was SO helpful! They had turned my smart stop off, a real pain. Why did resmed hide this in a clinician menu? Crazy!
Now to beat the horrible condensation problem that popped up when cool weather hit

Thank you ✅ I just updated my machine to this one and it’s a bit more settings involved. Also one question will they send supplies with the that tubing that has the digital chip end to it how often does that need replacing? Thx

I just started using the resmed airsence 11. The first day I used it, I thought I saw a green light turned on when touching the screen.
The second night a white light turned on when touching the screen. What is it white or green?

What if keep turning smart stop off and it keeps stopping automatically? I only few tiny bits of air leaking. I’m clenching my jaw trying not jet air out of my mouth still stops 10-39 seconds in.

Thx the Website and instruction manual are so bad made. I also stopped the smart-stop because always when I breathed through my nose and in the same time the pressure leaked a little bit more then usual the flow stopped and I woke Up. Now it has the setting from my old Air Sense 10.

I'm having issues with my Resmed airsense 11 shutting off randomly. The very nice rep I spoke to told turning off the smart start, and smart stop should resolve that. Fingers crossed 🤞
I'm not having good luck with my CPAP experience so anyone who has any tips or advice I would greatly appreciate it
