This is a live video cover of "I've Seen All Good People" done by Matthew Sweet & Susanna Hoffs (Sid & Susie) with Paul Chastain of Velvet Crush on acoustic guitar for Rolling Stones Magazine! ❤️ This was originally sung & performed by the 70s Prog Rock band Yes in 1971! ❤️ Sue & Matthew released a studio version of this cover on their album "Under The Covers, Vol. 2" in 2009! ❤️ Today (July 7th 2018) is also the one year anniversary of this channel and I hope you like this and the content I have uploaded so far! ❤️

I LOVE the interweaving of John's All We Are Saying is Give Peace a Chance. Sounds so beautiful with this classic Yes song! Well done.

I was surprised to find Susanna is a Yes fan. I was watching an interview with her when she said it.

That was well done I love seeing the two of them perform together. His voice was okay perhaps in effect would have helped

It was great until Matthew over powered Susanna. Not Matthew’s fault, it should have been Susanna’s voice up front with Matthew being equal or being very close behind her to achieve the right balance and those great harmonies. They both have strong vocals though and sound great together

i'm pretty sure they're playing it wrong, At least the cord from the first verse. Should be E major up to F sharp minor further up to A flat minor.

Unfortunately, Matthew's voice is way too high in the mix. He doesn't have a great singing voice to begin with and should just use it to complement Susanna's beautiful rasp, but every time he comes in here he dominates everything. Not his fault, but a bit disappointing that the audio engineer hired by Rolling Stone couldn't get it right.

Unfortunately badly mixed. I agree with those that say that Matthew's voice just overpowered Susanna's, and you just don't overpower Susanna's angelical voice. That's just not done. Every time Matthew starts singing it makes me want to hit him with a stick.
Just kidding, these two do great work together, but here the vocal balance was off.

Matthew should have just let Susanna sing. They could have turned his mike down like they did to Barney on Andy Griffith.

anything Susanna sings is always great, but let's be honest. their vocal harmony doesn't even begin to compare to that of Yes on the original recording, nor the guitar work. this is coffee-house level of performance, very nice and pleasant, not worthy of being recorded. the only reason you think it's good is because it's them, not due to the performance. this is the problem with most of their performances together.

Harmonizing voice was recorded at too high a level. It overpowered Susannah’s voice. You must have known this before putting this on YouTube. The question is, “Why?” Doesn’t this show a lack of Professionalism?
