Unique Hand Carved Coffee Spoon!!! Woodworking // How To

Carved this very weird, odd, unique wooden spoon out of Ebony and Walnut to use to scoop out my coffee grounds in the morning.

Beautiful! Only one thought/question/suggestion - Why use Tru Oil for any implement that you'll be using around any consumable? There are so many toxins/carcinogens/etc. that are ubiquitous and we can't avoid. Why go to all the work of making such a beautiful and useful spoon and not just use an oil to seal it that's 100% non-toxic/consumable? Would suggest that for any future project of that sort, even if you have to periodically reseal with oil. Thanks so much for sharing!
