The Road Ahead: Coronary Angiogram

Heart Research Australia, in association with Royal North Shore Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital, will be creating a series of episodes for heart patients and their families to view before their cardiac procedure, or to offer further information about their condition.

This is Episode 1 about a Coronary Angiogram, offering information about coronary heart disease, your angiography procedure and a personal insight into life after a heart attack.

My wife had this procedure and sent. (Not at this hospital) and a month later is still suffering from one of the known side effects of one of the commonly used mentioned drugs- coughing.
Sounds pretty innocuous, doesn’t it? But this coughing is almost continuous and is racking her whole body. God knows what it does to the heart and the stent. No pain, just unstoppable almost seizure-like coughing.
