I'm not typically one who's able to genuinely feel grief or strong emotional feelings for people who aren't my immediate friends and family, but this trio of albums dedicated to the memory of Marc's nephew Clark has touched me deeply. Through their music, Hammock has masterfully captured the essence of loss, as well as the long healing process and learning to again see brightness in the world.


You can truly feel how much Marc loves his sister and Clark. What he and Andrew have created in Mysterium, Universalis, and Silencia is what I can only call "transcendent."


Thank you, Hammock. The world would be a much darker place without you.
