There has to be some 'loophole' in that proposal, which would exempt all those politicians from keeping all their various 'side hustles'. I mean, it wouldn't look too good when so many of them have to be listed as 'employees' on all those businesses who have their 'lobbyists' funneling all that money toward 'speaker and consultation' fees and 'donations' toward their campaigns and 'pet programs'. I mean, if they don't have some sort of exemption built in to protect them, they simply revert back to being called bribes.
I'll give them one thing, when the administration claimed to be a 'uniting the nation' type, they sure are uniting the people in unemployment, destitution and despair under their iron thumb. Odd they have all the time to come up with all these ways to tear apart the people and their ability to even try to make ends meet, but they can't seem to to the simplest tasks of their jobs, like getting a budget in on time without taking out more trillions in loans - which they push off onto the people who didn't ask for such loans. The people that can't even balance a checkbook are telling everyone else how to 'control their spending' is so frustrating you almost have to laugh while crying, as more and more lose their homes and property as inflation has emptied any savings they managed to build prior.

All of these gig companies need to work with regular people and drivers as primary consultants. The execs don't live regular lives as the rest of the population, so they don't have any direct references to make logical decisions.
They're just wasting money to make it up as they go along.

im in canada, i would like to do gig work in the usa, that was the plan, but i dont know what paperwork to have in order on my end, to not get in trouble, or fines etc, is there anyone in canada doing this?
