The Warhammer community defintely is a step above when it comes to the fan animations!

This animation is based on the conflict known as the siege of vraks which happened a couple hundred years before the current timeline. Long story short the armory world of vraks was taken over by an imperial cardinal who was corrupted by chaos after multiple unfortunate events. What was supposed to be a simple mission to reclaim vraks spiraled into a 17-year war that at first was only ground war between imperial guard and renegade militia but over time involved orbital battles, space marines, and titan legions, both imperium and chaos. Even grey knights and the inquisition were involved as well in order to battle the mass daemonic army that were being summoned on vraks. The funniest thing is in the imperium's efforts to reclaim vraks because of how valuable it is, they used up all its resources meaning it was a useless victory in the end. A perfect example of the imperium.

I think you would love the helsreach animation series which was a whole animation done around an auto book … the animation style is amazing and the story telling is sensational…also the death Korp of kreig animations are good as well

Newbie: Why, if you guys got power armor, do you need the Imperial Guard?

Veteran: (sigh) Because, each Space Marine Chapter is (supposed) to have only 1, 000 members each. The Imperial Guard has up to 500K men, they are the first and last line of defense.
