This is a news flash from channel 12 news WICU Erie, Pennsylvania from January 4th, 1993 and features a story about Westley Allan Dodd, a serial killer who was set to be executed by hanging shortly after midnight the next day January 5th which was the first legal hanging in the United States since 1965 and the second to last hanging in the U.S. to date.
