It’s not an IQ lol, it’s just a pure luck, not more. During the smashes players always try to guess where opponent will hit the ball, and just opt for any side. It’s a shot in the dark. You bet at one side, succeed with 50% probability, and hit the decent shot. Profit! You’ve just bounced back from losing position. No high IQ needed
