Great video, you did a fantastic job describing every step. I have been installing Panduit jacks for over 20 years but enjoyed seeing your presentation.

Hi, do you know what diameter drill bit you need for a CAT6A? 8mm works for Cat6, would I need a 9mm or even a 10mm for Cat6A?

You mentioned that the pins should be facing up on the Rj-45 connector when installing. That information is not true.. if you notice on the front face of the Rj-45 you will see numbers 1-8 at the bottom of the pins. this should be read left to right and not upside down.. This has nothing to do with dust on the pins.. The other thing you mentioned that you can swap and use the A side at both ends or use the b- side terminations at both side.. I know you were meaning to keep a straight through cable configuration. But this is very important information for a rookie and you should also mention that this represent a 568-A or a 568-B system.. meaning that pins 2&3 are swapped orange and green..

How much they are not punched in when they are seated at the barbs? I'd think the connection to the pins would be there.

Why fast fw through the removal of the shielding around the pair, that's why I came to this video. Or maybe just show the removal of one then fast-forward the rest. Thanks
