Royal Dornoch is simply the best course in Scotland. Truly a gem and well worth the effort to make the trip north.

Just got back from Dornoch for the thrid time, amazing experience. My Caddie this time was Jim Seatter, who was Sandy Tatum's caddie that day with Tom Watson and Jim told me some great stories of that day. Jim is an amazing guy, he won the club championship the year I was born and also a past club captain as well. Amazing that HE was my Caddie. Amazing day!!

Dornoch, Cruden Bay, North Berwick plus the Open links in Scotland are the very best - but there are so many other great courses - certainly in each area you can plan a 3 day holiday in many regions. I am up to 211 played in my own land, and my bucket list has about 20 more 'must plays' - "ordinary" club courses (some 9 holers) recommended by friends. (Fraserburgh, Royal Tarlair and Cullen are on the schedule for 2023).

Was lucky enough to get great weather at Dornoch. The course is magical but even more the people are even better up there. Never met better caddies or club staff at any course. Had a blast and was one of the most enjoyable rounds of my life. Thanks to everyone at Dornoch.

We are booked to play this gem next summer (July). I am delighted beyond words. I will be working on knock down shots between now and then!

Played in great Scottish weather. 25 mph winds, 50 degrees, and overcast. My caddie watched me the first few holes, bogeyed 1, birdie 2. Local kid, tells me to just hit what I hand you. Par 4, 195 yards, swung an 9 iron, ran for 55-60 yards, pin high! Next hole, I smoked a 5 iron short, I had 114. The best course I have ever played. Old Course, Pinehurst 2.PB, Muirfield, Seminole. Hands down, finest course I’ve ever played

First time I played Royal Dornoch, it was so wet and cold that I was the only person on the course for two hours.
