Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi have now been enjoined in a court case filed by civil society activists challenging the eligibility of Deputy Premier Uhuru Kenyatta and Eldoret North MP William Ruto to vie for the presidency. The application to have their names added to the ongoing case was filed by one of the activists Patrick Njuguna who claimed that Odinga, Musyoka and Mudavadi had a past laden with alleged integrity issues including well publicized corruption scandals that could mean they are ineligible to vie for the presidency.
