We literally saw gaunter walking on air. No, not flying, LITERALLY WALKING ON AIR. He continuously mentions how time is his plaything, not to mention his ability of harvesting souls. we only saw a little fraction of his power in witcher 3. he is all powerful he can literally freeze time teleport at a whim, fly, make things appear. If o dimm wasn't playing a game he would destroy kraots effortlessly. but that is a part of his character so kratos will find a way to beat O dimm but never kill him

The only and *only* way Kratos can even defeat Gaunter is if Gaunter's powers are limited through a contract like how Olgierd Von Everec limited him and *ever then* it was Geralt's intervention that prevented Gaunter from winning.

Speed, endurence, strength...that is all irrelevant when Gaunter can manifest it all. The only thing that can beat Gaunter is his own contract, so the challenge is to convince him to agree to a disadvantageous agreement.

Knowing both rather well, it’s a toss up. Kratos is a god who has killed the strongest and fastest beings ever, and has withstood every challenge thrown at him. Gaunter is… I’m not even sure what he is, but he isn’t a threat that you kill. I’m not entirely certain, knowing the Witcher universe like I do, that you can kill gaunter o dimm. What I do know is that kratos has a fair chance at beating gaunter at his own game. If Gerald can do it, kratos can do it.

Gauntler only lost to Geralt because he underestimated him and did nothing but play with Geralt. If Gaunter wanted to end Geralt or Kratos quickly, he would. Gaunter might be the most overpowered video game character ever.
