I remember playing as Tonga once, I was using the puppet strat, and the USA player was about to do this, but he accidentally accepted the puppet request and got mad and rage quit because he didn’t know how to declare independence 😂

diabolical, but if you do it with tanks as a small country it is more fun

The fact i experienced this strat as burundi (i have tanz, rawanda and uganda). AND I SURVIVED, because i was prepeared (foucused on defence due to foucusing on economic increase).

This is how i survived:

1. Making forts around a coastal city
2. Prepeare frigates and destroyer (including arty)
3. Only get 110k troops (too prevent mp shortage)
4. Develop the city you want to defend (to last longer around a deficit)
5. Train troops and navy till max
6. Get max defence docterine
7. Get infantry at and ai(anti infantry) <---optional
8. get general with good defence and attack (around 13 or 10 defence/attack)
9. Repeat 8. but with navy
10. Use navy to destroy infantry or oncoming ships

Even tho this strategy sounds fun, its only possible with a super power like USA, China, India or Brazil, even then, all it takes is 1 fort and static lines and this entire plan fails misserably.
