Honestly you have to have a certain level of intelligence to be able to appreciate this kind of art.

The lyrics are so In depth, that to some extent they don’t make sense. Only when you hear the complex instrumentals does it all come together. It reminds me in some ways of Edgar Allen Poe.

Some singers say what they want to say so plainly. There’s no poetry, it’s just there.

Others say it poetically. They sing their feelings

But then we have artists like the public memory, seven, son lux, etc, that almost turn their poetry into riddles. Songs of metaphors and hypotheticals.

It’s really a high level of intellect and art, that sadly goes overlooked to some extent.

What's everyone's take on the lyrics? They're not so cut and dry, at least to me. It seems like it's centered around hopelessness or nihilism..trying to find meaning in a meaningless reality, or perhaps disenchantment from a failed relationship.
