Death Wobble Fixed

My death wobble appears to be fixed. Turns out, it was a tire balance issue as a couple people speculated. Drove home on the highway with not a bit of wobble.

Hey Chris...glad you got the wobble issue fixed. I had that happen a couple of years ago. New front stablelizer fixed the problem.
Hey...my tech team at jeep called me today with a video clip..pic of my jeep. Said my new battery had been installed and ready for pickup. Heck yea!! Happy about that although I can't pick up until next week because of my knee replacement I still can't drive yet. I'm ahead of schedule on my knee. Doc says I'm looking good. Outstanding look on the xray. Have a good week.

Great news! Unfortunately, I was driving on the highway today and an air conditioner fell off of a car in front of me. I tried to avoid it but couldn't. I hit it mainly on my driver's side which left a couple dents and scratches on the driver's door and driver side back door. But more importantly, I'm pretty sure it knocked the alignment off. Because after that, the death wobble was horrendous. It happens even down to like 35-40mph, and I can't get it to stop wobbling unless I get the jeep way down to like 5 mph. Really a kick in the gut right now. I've ordered alignment plates that should be here overnight (tomorrow). I'll try to get that straightened out and see what that does - he says with fingers crossed.

So…as long as your Jeep has perfect alignment and perfectly balanced wheels, no death wobble. But if either your alignment gets tweaked or any of your 4 wheels become unbalanced…this is all that it takes to turn your beefy off-road-ready suspension system into a funky death wobblicious machine? And Jeep owners are cool with this severe consequence to what should be a minor problem? Even at low speeds? Jeep owners keep Jeeping 😎

Nice, must’ve been a bad Balance the first time

They told me that the first time then changed the stabilizer, then changed all the steering components then change the stabilizer again
