Wolf Expert Anneka Svenska talks the realistic goals that Rewildling presents to us right now with Chris Packham and head of Rewilding Britain Helen Meech. How close are we to having the lynx and the wolf? What can we do now in our gardens to speed up rewilding?

I truely believe lynx, bears and wolves should be re-introduced and we should learn to live with them like many other countries do. They were here first and we removed them, they can benefit our ecosystem so much - the benefits would be endless.

I recently picked up an interest for rewilding in Europe and I really think it's the way to go. Always interesting to get more information. By the way, could you please explain your intriguing name?

if the ecosystem is crumbling then we have to start now there is no point telling the rest of the world to do there part but then not do ours in my opinion there is no argument in this we must learn to deal with and live with nature

They reintroduced wolves to Yellowstone park to balance the elk population, but have been so successful they are spilling out on to ranch land in neighbouring states and causing havoc, same would happen here, just look at the beaver project .

Talk of feral predators and feral predators will present themselves.
Regenerative horticulture and landscape management and integrated pest management feel more productive in my experience. Working up the trophic cascade and building up the food web has been the least adversarial experiemce for me personnally.
What Charlie has done at Knepp is an example that is a clarion call for all.
