I just got into Digimon recently and bought the complete Edition on Steam today (well, 1AM when writing this, so yesterday). Already got 5 Hours between CS and HM. Great games so far, they got me hooked! Already got some of my favorite Digimon already, some I learned of before choosing to play the games.

Most RPGs I get, I never see the ending of. Either because I lose my investment partway through, or the internet catches on to my interest and bombards me with spoilers.

Cyber sleuth is my one exception to this though. I picked the game up, and was hooked through the entire thing. I finished the game in just 4 days. Maybe it was just my returning digimon craze, but I firmly believe cyber sleuth did an INCREDIBLE job when it came to re-introducing me to the digimon series.

I love Cyber Sleuth, i wish it had a bigger vudget anf was fully voiced (Like Persona 5 for example) Plus an english dub

Honestly, I would love to see Digimon Survive serious tone with Cyber Sleuth digimon collecting and combat, then have next order on a different branch (which already is being digimon world while cyber sleuth is digimon story) keeping the more v-pet / taking care of digimon aspects and going deeper on it, cause while I loved next order, I feel like it's got a lot of cool ideas that were left at super shallow levels, for instance, I love the semi automated combat, but wish we had more options as tamers / partners, not just who they target specifically, MP use or tossing disks, perhaps commanding a fighting style (so for example command melee, or use specific elements) and have Digimon be more autonomous with discipline having relevance not only for digievolutions but also on wether they'll obey you or not, perhaps even limiting the type of ccommand you can give them to their intelligence or something

The only thing I dislike about cyberseluth is the amount of people online I play it on the switch and there are only 3 other people who ive seen play it online

I just recently (within the last week) managed to get the complete edition. I've already put 60+ hours into it. I've gone sleepless nights just grinding and getting max levels on all my Mons. Even if I'm not gonna use them. Just having them is fun. Need to start Hackers soon though. Really wanting to finish the collection of Mons.

You forgot the biggest reason cyber sleuth is still popular, mods. The community of modders made fantastic mods that more than double the amount of digimon, from ports of digimon from older games from custom assets created just to make the game more interesting.

Turn-based combat just isnt Digimon unfortunately, I could never get into it

Cyber Slueth was great. But also it was so long and then not havinf an English Dub was annoying.

Playing all the new Digimon games only makes me wish they remade Digimon World 3. Beef up the story and update the roster and it's golden. Also Digital Card Battle was one of my favorites since I love card games.

I was positivley surprised when i first played SL/HM on my Switch. The story was mature and, hell, some cases where really dark, but it has very funny moments, too! Nokia is hilarious!

I have near 800 hrs, and still play it often.
The story us cool, after gameplay is cool and the pvp against npc makes real fun, they are some special events too with some unlockable accesours and skins.
This Games makes near 800hrs still fun.
I like to try all crazy combos out.
And on Hard mode, the Game is realy ltl hard.
The side quest in the endstory are realy hard, thats makes fun.

Worth noting also, is that there is supposedly a new Digimon Story game (meaning the same series as CS:HM) that will be releasing this year. We've known this since shortly after HM released, but sadly haven't heard anything about it since it was mentioned in an interview years ago. Supposedly, it's story will center around the Olympos XII, much like how CS' story centers around the Royal Knights. And, it's also worth noting that in the trailers leading up to the release for Next Order's Switch/PC port, it was stated that Bandai Namco has multiple Digimon game projects currently in development, and we heard that months ago. We'll likely see a new game revealed at Tokyo Gameshow in September if not sooner. Now, whether that will be a new World game, since there has been demand for it for some time, a new Story game, both, or a new thing entirely remains to be seen. My bet's on us getting both a new Story game, and either a new World game or a remaster/port of the OG World trilogy.
