Since my brutal cancer treatments 12 years ago took away a lot of my executive function, I have to have the help of a professional organizer to sort, discard, donate, and file away things in order to keep my house shovelled out. It's been very humbling, to say the least!
However, it's fun to watch you and your wonderful family work together to get these tough jobs done!
I enjoy all your vids, but my favorite is still the series I saw first: the artist' hoarded house! When I think of how you saved not only the house from being burned down by the local firemen doing a traing exercise, but also all her fabulous works of art, her equipment, and her wonderful legacy, I breathe the most thankful sigh of relief!

It never ceases to amaze me what people save… and what they bother to place in storage… and why they abandon it.

Finding money is always good. I remember last year I had a small $50 5x5 easy cleanout and found single $100 bill, and new America Express $50 gift card. (Instant cash )
The $40 unit I cleaned out last week had ' some ' loose change in a small purse. You usually get pennies but there was lots of silver coin. $65 in a $40 Unit. I saw 3 10 gallon Home Depot Igloo water coolers in pics on top... but there were 2 rows of them underneath.. 12 total ! 2 large folding tables for flea market 5 smaller 4 ft(folding 2x2's) and 10x10 pop canopys which will all sell. $25 Profit before I sell 1 item. And the 2 small dressers with toddler/baby clothes went to Church donations. Good unit with literally no trash

Pretty good unit, at least the clothes and all looked pretty clean. I like that it's a family thing with all of you getting into it. Your kids will understand the real value of things from all of this, which is rare these days.Thanks for the videos, great job !

I am always surprised that people store all their stuff in a storage unit & pay for it to be stored..& then don’t want to take to back…when they can’t afford to pay for the storage anymore & just abandon it. 😳😮 Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍😊

I love your one handed videos when you are on site no phoney set ups. You always teach me something new with every video. Good that your family is always there to help you. I have that same harvest gold mixer. I got it at a garage sale 25 years ago. It's a work horse! Unlike the cheap ones made today. Nice haul! I'm glad that Melissa and Abigail found some stuff too. Thank you Alex.
