Proof That Process Is More Important Than Results

The process is often considered more important than the results because it is the journey that leads to the destination. Here are a few reasons why:

Learning and growth: When we focus on the process, we have the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of the outcome. We can develop new skills, build resilience, and gain valuable experience that can help us in the future.

Enjoyment and fulfillment: The process can be enjoyable and fulfilling in its own right. When we focus solely on the outcome, we may miss out on the pleasure and satisfaction that comes from working towards a goal, overcoming challenges, and making progress.

Sustainable success: When we prioritize the process, we are more likely to achieve sustainable success. This is because we are focused on building healthy habits, developing a growth mindset, and creating a foundation for long-term success, rather than just achieving a short-term goal.

Resilience and adaptability: When we focus on the process, we are better able to adapt to changes and setbacks. We can be more resilient, bounce back from failures, and adjust our approach as needed, rather than giving up when things don't go as planned.

In short, while results are important, the process is equally important, if not more so. By focusing on the process, we can enjoy the journey, learn and grow, and achieve sustainable success over time.

One way to increase dopamine during workouts is to listen to something you enjoy during your workout. Music or podcasts for example.
I know a lot of people know this already, but one of the main reasons i work out is because i want to listen to my playlist while i work out.

That is such a great piece of advice. I'm 32 and I feel like I really need results quick or I may start my decline without having ever achieved any substantial peak. However, I find myself loving the process more and more

That's true for most things in life, I guess. Studying, working, love...

For me recently, it’s learning to “allow myself to celebrate.” And that’s for the systems and process. To celebrate the victory of showing up and doing the work knowing it leads to results. Anyways, great channel, stay healthy!

Honestly I expected results all the time, but then I decided to go with the process, now I can do handstand push ups 5-10 easily because of doing military press

The main reason i workout is the result. The process is most of the time nkt fun at all, but i force myself to enjoy it just to see the end results

Except the process sucks and it will always sucks. You are doing physical labor which rarely feels good.

You do it just like you would any job, in order to get money or in the case of working out some kind of level of fitness.
