Netflix and Chill... in VR?

We check out the Netflix app available on the Samsung Gear VR (powered by Oculus). The phone used in this video was the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

If you're in bed watching netflix in vr, I definitely recommend void theater and reposition the screen to when your head is laid back. Just. Amazing.

That's so awesome. You can sit in a virtual room watching a virtual tv. Probably in like 20 years we're actually gonna be able to feel things.

I love changing it to the black space mode so that you can lay on the couch and look up to watch it. FYI look all the way straight up to see and select that option. then you can lay back and make the screen as big as you way better

yeah when I got my VR with my S7 and used it for the first time I was so surprised how good the phone was able to make a clear picture with the movement. it's amazing how far technology has come.

where you can change your view. and make the screen bigger or smaller if you like. put the VR on Netflix again look straight up and ther is a Blue dot, put it right on the ceiling press on that you can read position your screen anywhere you want

Watch while lying down by looking up at the theater thats directly above you and click it. then there's options to resize the TV and watch at any angle

FYI... in the Netflix app you should look straigt up to find the void theater option. click on it and the room disappears and on top of the screen is a travel symbol. Click on that. This will allow the screen to slowly follow where you are looking as you lay down. You can now lay down and watch movies straight up or what ever position you are in. MY MOST FAVORITE part of the Gear so far. I watch movies all the time now while laying down.

Tried this for the first time about a month ago, was surreal but in a positive sense. The immersion was superb. Although the scary dark stairs behind me creeped me out!

It would be cool to watch in a movie theater watching a movie. Sit in a comfy chair and eat some popcorn too while watching.

Just on relaxing and lying down to watch, in the VR gallery app you can reorient the screen to watch downloaded movies in any position. Maybe something Netflix can do later, or maybe the setting is in there already??

you can change the orientation when you look all the way up.

Ya can put the screen wherever you want if you go into void mode. In the Netflix room look straight up to get into void mode.
