I have been researching my family for a long time now and originally i thought that it would be a chore but discovering new stuff and putting pieces together like a puzzle is really fun and makes me feel like a detective

I get 2000+ hits when I type my great great grandfather's name into my country's newspaper site, and yes, It is mostly for my GGGrandfather as he was a minister and had sermon times advertised (those were the boring listings, lol) but it gave me an insight into what kind of up-standing, community-minded man he was. He advocated for orphanage funding, started a Y.M.C.A in the area, was on the school committee
