British accent suits me better than American because when I say t or d, my voice will naturally produce strong stress (as the effect of my tribal dialect) that makes clear difference between those letters 😂

There really is no such thing as 'British' English or even English English for that matter, as every region in Britain has its own accent which can vary massively from place to place. In the past, 'Received Pronunciation' (or RP) was what we were all encouraged to aspire to, a very general and non-regional way of speaking (althpugh based on the home counties around London) as the best way for us to be more easily understood anywhere. These are good examples of that, although I'm not too sure about 'chews'day and 'chew'na.. and the glottal stop is just slang !!

Unfortunately saying “the British Accent” has its flaw. It’s like saying only one item of food exists in the whole world. The UK possibly has more accent variety than the USA. I’m from the west half of the East Riding of Yorkshire, and I sound rather different! London English is a good benchmark for learning English as it is spoken in the UK, but I’d caution visitors that we don’t all sound like this. However, that said, I’d say our accent density is quite a cornerstone of our culture!

Here in Sweden we learn British English in school but most of us use the American English after school. I don’t like that, so I always try to use word from the British English instead because I live in Europe and not in America. So if other people call our elks for Moose, I say elk because it is what we learn in school.

Other words I think about:
Lift instead of elevator
Flat instead of apartment
Colour instead of Color
Football instead of Soccer

But back to your video.
The good for me with this is that I can sound a little bit American or Swedish when I pronounce English words. Few words look like the Swedish word for the same thing. Like granite (in Swedish: Granit) so it can be very easy that I spell words like this more in Swedish instead.
But the biggest problem I have is the grammar so if it be a big problem for me when I write in English on internet I use Google translate. But this time I did not use it. (I’m so proud of myself😉)

When you say British accent you mean England.Scottish people speak English very differently.
