pcs' first function is not playing games.... the windows also uses a lot of memory in the background while playing games and hence the hardware does not fully dedicate itself to the fullest for games.. whereas in gaming consoles... they are first for gaming and then other stuff... it also has no specific os and so the hardware can be utilised to the fullest extent... even if the console hardware specs are less than pcs.. they manage to give a better performance than pc because of the same reason

This thing is going to cost $349.99 with the new consoles and possibly a Steam Box releasing this Fall is it already DOA?

I love the idea of Shield and I would want one except it's the ugliest electronic device I've ever seen. And I am usually not bothered by ugliness but that is just too much.
