The Indiana Fever have come a long way from their 2-9 start. No longer playing 11 games in 20 days will do that for any team, as head coach of the Fever Christie Sides and host Howard Megdal discuss on today's podcast. But there's so much more to Indiana's turnaround than the 9-6 record over its last 15 games. Caitlin Clark is learning the league, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell are finding another level, and there are areas of growth still to come. Listen to why the Indiana Fever, already in playoff position, have another level to reach.

I would love to see people treat Christie like a decent human while providing productive criticism. People need to understand that she is a leader of women, and when you tear her down needlessly, it actually tears down the young women she leads, and the women looking up to her. We all want the chance to grow in what we do and Christie is doing that. They are improving and that’s not by accident, it’s by leadership. My opinion.

CC's teammates are fumbling less passes as the season goes on as well. In the beginning of the season she was hitting them with great passes and they weren't ready and they resulted in turnovers. I can't wait until Friday and the rest of the season.

The team has grown in chemistry and it shows. Coach knew it would start coming together. 2nd half looks good! Go Fever!

Kelsie is getting more shots because defenses are concentrating on CC. Kelsie needs to swing the ball to CC sometimes.
Players must be ready to catch passes. SET HARD PICKS to free 3point shooters. CC should have 15 -20 shots per game regardless. Most important, FEVER must play up tempo to highlight FEVER attributes and maximize CC's talent running the team and not placing her in the corner.
Turnovers from CC. All great players have high turnovers. MJ. BABE RUTH. SUE BIRD. Lisa Leslie...
Coach never call time outs when your team is in a fast break. Call time out when opponents go on a 9-10 point run. Make on ball adjustments during the game. Play to the strength of your talent and not your strict system. Adapt Coach. Last, let's not play Wheeler with CC. Allow Wheeler to sub for CC that has twofold benefit. Resting CC. And second, wheeler doesn't hinder CC's role and gravity for the TEAM.

Just give CC the keys, and get out of the way. And be a little more composed like Steve Kerr. When youre blessed with greatness, sometimes your job is to not do too much, Christie

Loved hearing Christie talk about Caitlin like the star she is. Hopefully this group let their guards down a bit during this break and just start respecting each other more. It will absolutely show on the court.

Great coverage as always with this channel. I love that they get factual information from the source.
The amount of couch coaches is ridiculous and these are supposedly Indiana 'fans'. Ya'll are the most annoying people.

Playing in transition is how they shine fast play, need more screens, call timeout before we are down 10 points

I have watched every game the fever played this year. If it wasn't for the opposition the Fever would be 26-0. Honestly, the team could be 14-12 but I am happy with the 11-15 record.

All you couch coaches need to leave them alone, let them play, and see the results.

Boston and Clark were playing together better as the season wore on toward the break. That needs to continue during the remaining games. Offensively, the Fever have weapons. If Clark can regain her shooting touch, the Fever’s offense will take a positive jump toward the top of the top teams. Defense is a problem. Clark and Mitchell in college were the foci of their teams’ offenses and had to conserve energy on the defensive end. Clark is improving, but if she is going to play nearly 40 minutes, she needs to take energy breaks now and then; the defensive end is where the energy break will happen.

Like Larry Bird once said, "Give me the ball and get out of the way." Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play an exciting up-tempo game. They are changing the WNBA!

expecting CC to play 40 min. games isn't fair got to find way to cut it down to 34 min.

These are all the main factors we don't care for Christy Side's. CC should always be PG and Wheeler should never hit the floor. Spell CC with Berger, atleast she can play point and defend.
