One of the biggest questions I get is how to find your signature play style as a hooper. How to take from other players while maintaining your own style. I answer this and more in this video!

Choosing moves and styles that work for your athletic build is so important. I love pull up midrange/floater shots but I'm short, so I learned the hard way that I can't just do a kd hesi pull up every shot

I struggle going to the right. I’m a right handed person but I struggle to drive to the right and I feel more comfortable doing left handed layups along with pull ups from the left

i usually watch attention to detail to see how i could guard people but i sometimes pick something up to add to my game. attention to detail mostly helps me as a defense minded player to know all situations and act accordingly to try and force the lowest percentage shot.
putting my offensive game together has been way hard for me, so seeing different ways i could grow really helps. basically thank you

I took the Lebron Route kinda, I worked on all facets of the game that I could so that when I’m on the court no matter where I am & who I play with I’m useful & I find it fun as well but most of all I seem to be picked first in just about every pick up game because I don’t play with ego & I’m not necessarily ball dominant but can be when it calls for it, I seem to end up scoring more points than everyone at times but I think that comes with experience too but everyone is different. I looked at myself as a student of the game & never regretted it.

i’ve been goin thru this “finding the right play style structure” for yrs until last yr where i finally found the comparable play style and finding the actual workout for me and it was those athletic sg ie. malik monk, jalen green, jaylen brown types & as i watched more of their film & gravitated to their play style the game felt more natural for me

Best explanation of this I’ve ever heard, simple, but the way you put together the information is so professional and helpful, quality video!

My play style?
I love to emulate CJ McCollum. Shifty mid range pull ups. Decent athleticism, but move and countermove chess. I can handle the ball, drive left or right. My biggest weakness has to be my lack of a floater. It comes and goes but it’s right hand only.
Time to hit the gym.

Right now I’m in a stage where I don’t know how tall I’m going to be how fast I’m going to be. But right now I’m 14 6’0 tall, 6’4 wingspan, combo guard, and I model my game similar to d-book

My playstyle changed from my freshman- halfway junior year into my senior year. I was always taller than most players on my team but I played guard on 2nd team the first 3 years. We got a new coach and suddenly Im playing center. Keep in mind that I never really got much actual gametime when playing guard so I could never really show anything. It was hard for me to become an inside player when all I knew was playing outside. I realized I am most likely a pass-first teammate but can get a bucket if needed.

I honestly like Luka and PG13. Luka has great pace and playmaking abilities. He might not be athletic but that is the reason why I think he is unique and who I can replicate my play style off the most. Paul George however is athletic and is one of the few guys who really gets the defense to adjust to his tempo of the game offensively

After a foot injury I had. I was back to zero and I do not know how to play anymore and all I do is be a spot up shooter.

Before Injury my play style was a combination of Tony Parker, ginobili, duncan and mostly John wall.

Thanks to this video I am enlightened I now know how will I play and return to my takeover game form.

Amazing video!!
I can't find one player I'm exactly like. Trae young and CP3 are close. Small players who're quick but aren't that strong / don't jump crazy high. I'm at my best attacking of the dribble, and using a lot of step back mid range shots / floaters rather than taking it all the way. While I can make the right pass, I don't have the basketball IQ of CP3, nor can I hit logo shots like Trae. So I also learn from others.. streetballers like the professor for playing through pressure defense, Steph Curry for playing off ball, and Marcus smart for defense. And any other move that I like pretty much.
