Apple iPhone 8 vs iPhone 7 Camera Comparison

In this video I compare the camera of the new Apple iPhone 8 and the previous model the iPhone 7. We take some pictures and videos with both phones to determine which smartphone has has the lead in quality.

I bought the iPhone 7 plus and bought an iPhone 7 for my partner. The iPhone 7 plus has a great portrait mode that blurs the background that I love. It works great for groups in a restaurant or whatever when you want to focus on the people. You can get apps to do the same but it is better to just have it on the camera.


I'm about to upgrade to the iPhone 8 plus. I leave it awhile as it saves a hell of a lot of money. But I've found to camera on the iPhone 7 to be able to produce professional quality images and don't see myself bothering with a camera again now. We went to Granada and the iPhone produced images as good as we could ever want.


A little tip. When putting together a file of your trip to some amazing place download a few professional images of landscapes and building of tourist sites and add them to your pictures. Then when you look back you get your fun images together or of friends but also get high-quality images to remind you of the beauty of the places.

Basically the same but the 8 will last longer

One can see your shadow on the floor in one shot and that you are holding one phone on the left edge and the second phone on the right edge. Meaning that you are covering the mic of the iPhone 8 with your hand and hence the sound is muffled...

So absolutely no use in comparing two mics if they don’t have identical conditions!
