My iPhone 8 is pretty crusty. Sometimes I'll be trying to type something out and it stalls for a few seconds, then catches up. I could probably fix it by re-installing everything, but that's a big pain.

I currently own an iPhone 8’s and I’ve told people time and time again, that I love this phone. Mines still works perfectly the same as when I first got it almost 3 years ago. No issues and like you said great RAM management.

i’ve been thinking for upgrading my 8 recently it’s been showing it’s age by random freezes and the battery not last all day anymore i’m not sure if it’s worth it i might hang onto my phone for a couple more months

The 1080p OLED is a huge upgrade from the 750p LCD, glad that the small iPhone gets a display and design that better befits a 2021 flagship phone. The notch is a possible complaint but Face ID is awesomely reliable and consistent that most people will take function over aesthetics, with only a hole punch and a in display fingerprint.

The iphone 12 mini has a larger screen size, but after you crop it due to the odd aspect ratio (to not have the notch occlude the video) how does it compare to the iphone 8? Is the larger screen just a gimmick taking advantage of that little corner?

iv had the iphone8 since day1, got a new battery intakled from apple nov2019 and became new again...3 1/2years im still using and very happy...not changing unless the take the ugly notch away

I had an iPhone 8 and then got an iPhone 11. The iPhone 11 turned out super heavy and I was thinking of exchanging it for a iPhone 12 mini. But I've been thinking, if it's really worth upgrading the iPhone 8 to 12. Should I just sell my iPhone 11 and keep my iPhone 8 if I'm not happy? I have iphone 8 its good for average users but its sucks while playing heavy games and battery capacity is very low. Once you play half an hour game 50% is gone. Sometimes games is laggy. I play PES truelly often.

iPhone 6 was the thinnest ever made. The iPhone 8 is three years old and is already 2 major updates further, but does an amazing job on keeping up. It would be a shame if the 12 Mini wasn't faster.
