I’m very new at coding and have been trying to focus on hardhat with ethers.js. There is definitely way more documentation out there about truffle and web3.js, in addition to more tutorials/boot camps that use truffle. But, it seems like hardhat and ethers will be more dominant in the future. I’m also trying to focus on Integrating Moralis into projects.

I started with Truffle and I recommend new devs to start with Truffle. Hardhat has a better dev experience but as Julien said, learn both. I recommend Ethers over Web3.js for the foreseeable.

I mean follow from Turkey. I don't speak English, but hardhat seemed more understandable to me. I think you are more useful. HARDHAT !!!!

The thing I like about hardhat is that it has test accounts with test ethers inbuilt, where as in truffel you have to use ganache-cli.

my preference is Hardhat because I think it is faster and more understandable than Truffle. I don't know if both have api connection to etherscan. but Hardhat is very good at it

Does anyone have trouble with Truffle Deployment, where your deployment stops / breaks right before it saves the final migration and contract. Had this happen once and essentially you are left with a contract on the main-net but no saved ABI to access it through the console or anyway else, because you only have your bytecode to work with. Any safeguards against this in hardhat?
