Watch: Divers rescue five whale sharks trapped in fishing nets

Five whale sharks were rescued by a group of divers after they were found trapped in fishing nets in ocean waters off Indonesia. Underwater footage shows the divers pulling away fishing nets and gently guiding the whale sharks in the right direction, allowing them to swim away freely.

as they are generally only seen as a single fish, to find five trapped in a net might mean this is where they come to breed, so that might put pressure on the Indonesian government to look at ways of introducing no fishing zones in these areas

We need to stop purchasing foreign fish. This is the reason this happens. Too much demand leads to shady practices
