Well, I found it!!! When I move the files from my PC to the server, the permissions on the server changed, so I get several errors... Now, I put 755 to the permissions of the php files and all working perfect!!! :D

The .htaccess file is actually the filename and not the file extension! On linux, unix and I think on mac too you can control file visibility by adding a dot before the filaname which makes it invisible or remove the dot thus making it visible again. On a Windows machine you use the file properties window to make files visible/invisible.

"ErrorDocument 404 /filenotfound.php" is the line in .htaccess file. The IndexIgnore works.

hello, first off, I want to tell you that your videos have been very good! I was just wondering about editing the .htaccess. I took it from my ftpserver but where do i edit it? I tried opening it up in notepad ++ but it wasnt opening. I also tried opening it on wampserver that i use for my php. if you can help, that would be great! Thanks!

I can't seem to find a way to get .htaccess to work on my local server. I've looked up online for solutions but when I tried any of them, it never worked :(
