Bad example at the beginning of fueling your truck as the law says you are on duty while fueling. If they check the time on your fuel receipt and you are logged off duty, that can be a hefty fine. That can be caught later on during an audit too.

I decided to go with the Motive ELD because I hear good things about it. The product itself is great but the annoying part is that I couldn’t find it at any truck stops (I’m in Sacramento, CA).

I tried to purchase it off of their website but the best you can do is leave your number just so they can call you and try to sell everything else they have (dash cam, load board, dispatching, and much more).

With all that said, their support has been helpful for me. I installed it and they helped me connect it to the truck. They mentioned I could call 24/7 if I needed any help.

If you get fuel it’s considered on duty & if you take the truck to a shop that’s work related so it’s on duty also .

If you install 3002 cord and it’s showing malfunction indicator lamp where vehicle status under telematics as well the cable I purchase from Amazon bc motive didn’t send it should I be worried at the moment I’m waiting on the original cable from motive to perform another test.
