"Funny though I've always been drawn to new destinations and meeting new people, homesickness has often been a familiar companion since childhood. When I was little and would go sleep over at my friends’ houses, I’d often end up calling my parents crying for them to come pick me up lol. Even now, I sometimes bail on the spot to change destinations or go back home (more sad). Over time, you learn to know yourself, but at 36, I still often have the same reflex, strange.. Still, if you push through this kind of uncertainty, you eventually reach that wonderful moment where your whole perspective changes. Suddenly, there’s nowhere else you’d rather be. No Calls Before Noon is about all of that, but especially about the fun part."
