When I first started playing, I thought that seelies were anemoculuses that would run away from you.
Whenever I saw one I would follow them halfway and then give up.

I literally WALKED from Mondstat to Liyue during my early AR times and jumped over Waypoints to go to Katheryn in Liyue.
Lemme tell you I was DEVOTED to quests.

I wish I knew you could accept and complete quests without the traveler in your party. I knew the active character would morph into the traveler when you interacted with certain NPCs, but I thought the traveler still needed to be part of the party for that to happen. Imagine my shock when I forgot Aether wasn’t part of my party and I was still able to complete a main storyline quest.

I remember when I started playing, I never farmed artifacts and so I sticked with the basic sets you could win in the chests... So by mistake, I never read the details of what the artifacts did (such as healing bonus, crit rate..)... And so i put the traveling doctor set on Kaeya... Yes, I build a Kaeya healer

This is all my daughter plays. She is a master at it. Never spent loads of money on it. But always gets what she wishes for. It’s nice for anyone to play such a nice calm game 😊

I didnt unlock Cecelia garden for up to 3 months bc I lost one of the seelies along the way. I hit myself when I figured out I could track it with elemental sight.

I didn’t know how to light up campfires and when I clicked on it and it would say “you need pryo to light this up” I thought they were talking about a person 💀💀💀

I wish I knew that 1x fragile resin is 60 resin. I remember farming the cryo regisvine and I needed 20 more resin to get the rewards. so I converted 20 fragile resins hoping to get just 20 resin. then boom, i already have 1000+ resin in an instant which i just wasted to random world bosses 😫😫 until now it still haunts me

I didn’t know that condensed resin gave more rewards. I always used 20 resin in domains over and over again and it took SO long, and didn’t give me very much. And also, I didn’t know you could coop domains. So, I would always do domains solo, which made me not want to do them. That made me never use artifacts or upgrade talents. I didn’t build my characters at ALL other than just normally leveling them up. It was painful.

I thought that story quests actually give you the character that the quest revolves around at the end. That did happen in the beginning with the Lisa story quest, so I was very confused when I did the Diluc story quest later on and I didn't get Diluc.

When I first started playing, I’d put any dmg bonus goblet on ANY character even if they weren’t the same element. I used to think that (a true example) adding a geo dmg goblet on amber, it would provide more damage against geo characters as well as her pyro damage .-.

Don’t worry, I’ve fixed all of that now but I still feel so stupid for it 😂

I am only playing for like 1-2month. it is this week that I realized I can heal my characters on the statue. I learned about the weekly bosses on this video, and now while reading the comments my mind is continuously getting blown.

When I started playing, I never knew the power of artifacts and never used them but after getting stuck in dragon spine, I used them and realized I was doing double damage and from that day on, I realized the importance of artifacts.

When I started playing. I always found artifacts good. If they were at the top. You would always see them equiped by my character. No matter good or bad. I always thought that it was good if it was at the top. Really. I stacked up Hp to the point where I had no room for crit damage. Crit rate. And attack. Those were important. Crit damage and Crit rate was the one that I thought that i didnt need. Until now. I realized how good it was. I really wish i knew about it in the first week

I wish I knew not to waste my fragile resin on artifacts before AR 45 and that I should lvl up weapons and talents
